"Hell yes, we're going to take your AR-15."
That is what Presidential long shot, Beto O'rourke, said during a mid-September Democratic debate.
And, as usual with this type of remark, guns went flying off the shelves.
Alpha Dog Firearms of Tempe, Arizona sold out of AR-15s in only four hours running what they called the "Beto Special."
Beto and company should focus on taking guns from gangs and cartels instead of persecuting law abiding citizens who buy their guns legally. They should also not hold gun giveaways to murderous criminals as they did with Fast and Furious:
“Operation Fast and Furious,” designed to help the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) dismantle drug cartels operating inside the United States and disrupt drug-trafficking routes. Instead, it put into the hands of criminals south of the border some 2,000 weapons, which have been used to kill hundreds of Mexicans and at least one American, U.S. Border Patrol agent Brian Terry.Horrors like Fast & Furious make it painfully obvious that the goal of the gun control harpies is not to end gun violence against the innocent or get guns out of the hands of criminals. And even if it was it should be equally obvious that they are nowhere near competent to perform the task.
I wonder if Beto has received his royalty check yet.
